I am a builder, and I am just about to have my fiftieth birthday next Saturday. Fifty is quite a big birthday, especially for a builder such as myself. It makes you realise that you have lost your youth long ago when you see such a big number on a cake that has been hidden away in the fridge. My wife is going to have a nasty surprise on my birthday when she realises that I have already eaten half of my cake, the part that describes the nought on the fifty. She thought that she had hidden it well behind the carrots and the lettuce! No vegetables can hide cake or other yummy foods from me! Anyway, where was I?

The worst part about having my fiftieth birthday is that I am going to have to find another company to get my insurance from. I have been with the same insurance site ever since I was twenty two, and new to the whole insurance thing. Unfortunately though the company does not have an over 50 life insurance policy. They have suggested that I go find somewhere else to get my life insurance from now on.

So here I am, a builder at fifty years old with no idea when I am going to slow down and retire, and therefore looking for an over 50 life insurance policy from any one of sixty eight life insurance companies. Right now I think that I might just have found the one that I was looking for.

I have to tell you, I was very lucky finding this one! They know that a builder over the age of fifty is a liability, as building sites are very dangerous places for anyone to be, and yet they are willing to offer me coverage for accidents. I was really quite surprised, because I thought that it would be very expensive, after all these sites are a business, and they have to make their money somewhere, but they were really cheap. Their over 50 life insurance quotes look like my shopping list bills, and they are cheap, because I forget half the things that my wife asked me to buy for her! I suddenly do not feel so bad about over 50 life insurance, because I have a quote and I plan to accept it as soon as I get the chance. Then I will be able to get back to work, even if I do have a cake with a number over 40 on it!
