I got a phone call from one of those telephone survey companies asking me if I would buy life insurance online or over the phone. I told them I didn't know if I would. I would a littlemore information about it before I made a decision like that. They said they understood and wanted me to participate in a paid focus group aboutlife insurance, and why I would buy life insurance online.

I go to this focus group tomorrow, and me and the 10 other people in the group are going to compare options in how to buy life insurance online. This business is getting more attention right now that is why they are conducting these focus groups. They want to know thepublic's views so they know where to target their advertising for television.

The focus group lasted about an hour and a half, and they paid us $75 dollars for it. It was pretty interesting sitting there listening to everyone else's opinions on the subject of how to buy life insurance online. I found out some pretty important facts about it. I just might try to do online next time I need to renew my own. I talked it over with my husband and he said that we wished that he could have gone to the focus group also. I told him that he has to sign up on a website to have his name put down in order to get called in for the focus groups. There are all sorts of groups that they conduct every month. And I was explaining that according to the information of what your interests are, they pick you for certain groups. When I first signed up about a year ago, I didn't put down very many interests. But then when I went to my very first focus group, one lady there said she was doing this for five years. She said if you want to be eligible for more focus groups, you have to list more interests in your profile page on the site. So that is what I did. I signed back into my membership page for the site, and put down a lot more interests. The very next week, I started to get more phone calls inviting me to do more focus groups. So I told my husband that list as many as you can, and he will have more luck.
